OK here's today's verse in two versions:
"You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound. I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety." Psalm 4:7-8 NIV
"I have God's more-than-enough, more joy in one ordinary day than they get in all their shopping sprees. At the days end I am ready for sound sleep, for you, God have put my life back together." Psalm 4:7-8 Message
haha:P I love the Message Bible. It puts everything in today's language and takes it all out of context:) 'shopping sprees' ;) hehe
What I've read in that today, is that with God everything is better. There's more joy in a day with God than with all the best things of this world. "Better is one day in Your courts than thousands elsewhere" basically. So, when I spend an hour doing devos and praying, it's a way better time than say, seeing that new movie, or playing that new gaming system. I'd have to agree with that =)Then again I'm not into gaming so much so it's not really a fair comparison:P lol
As far as life goes, today is good so far:) All drama is happening elsewhere and I wish it wasn't happening at all, but it should work out and hasn't had any lasting effects that I know of.
I think mom, Aubs and I are going to go school shopping tonight =) YAY!

Earlier my two little brothers, Aubs and I had a war:P We found all the balls in the house (except baseballs because they would have hurt) and we fought our way down the hallway trying to win the territory of the stuffed seal :) haha- I know that sounds weird but it was awesome fun:-) The only casualty was when 'C' and Aubs whammed their heads together while diving for more ammo:P We ducked behind doors and into rooms and had strategic battle plans ~ It was great!
Verse of the day: Psalm 4:7-8
Listening to: Hawk Nelson- Letters to the President
Reading: History of the United States
Thinking about: Stargazing =)

I've commanded you to be strong and brave. Don't ever be afraid or discouraged! I am the Lord your God and I will be there to help you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 CEV
I read this on the top of your thing. It is soo true! I love that passage. And that will sure be one to think about when going off to college. No matter where you are he is always right there with you. You are never seperated from him. Even though it may seem like it at times he is NEVER apart from you.
:-P Sounds like you are having fun with your siblings!!! I remember doing that kind of stuff when I was younger. Good times there.
